With that being said, we are very proud with how it turned out and hope it can be of some inspiration to yourself. In this part, we will be going over the shower room renovation.
The specification of this room was to modernise the theme slightly without overpowering the original characteristics of the house. This was achieved this by using modern style fixtures and fittings with contemporary wall and floor tiles, both in size and shade. The main features of this shower room are: the beautiful walk in shower, wooden beam matching the oak finish vanity and the incredible floor tiles.

Starting off
As you can see from the incredible before and after this is truly a on of a kind transformation. The first part of the process was the installation of the skylight. This brought some much needed natural light into the room and straight away we could tell just how special this transformation was going to be.
After we removed everything from the room, we began reconstructing it. Firstly by studding out every wall to ensure a solid plum surface for us to fix substrate to. Moreover, we could then add insulation to the studs increasing thermal efficiency and reducing the noise when someone is using the room.
From here, it was all about tiling and plastering. We laid out the the tiles so that each cut is symmetrical at the end of each wall and that the recess flows freely into them without the need for unnecessary L shape cuts. We could then move onto the finishing touches, where the second fix plumbing and suite was completed. Along with decoration and other finishing bits such as door frame touch-ups and caulking. The final result speaks for itself.
