On this weeks work blog post, we will be looking at a fantastic refurbishment completed by out team in West Derby, Liverpool. This bathroom required meticulous planning from start to finish, ensuring that our clients expectations, as always, were exceeded. In this blog post we will go into detail about the custom vanity and 3D feature wall which are the stand out items of this beautiful ensuite. Welcome to our Welcoming West Derby Ensuite Rejuvenation!
The centre piece of this project is the 3D LED recessed wall with a 1200 wall hung custom vanity. This piece truly is a one of one. The vanity is made up of two individual 600 LED wall hung vanities in a matt grey finish from Scudo. The counter top was designed in house and commissioned by Stone Design creating a completely individual vanity. Finally, this gave our client all the required countertop space while providing a large wash basin which is more than big enough for an ensuite bathroom.
3D walls are starting to become more and more popular, with the ambient lighting used bringing character into to room. It allows the feature tiles to flawlessly blend in with the wall tiles, bringing both together in a magnificent way. Our client was delighted with the final outcome and we could not be happier also. Furthermore, the vanity itself is incredibly strong. The countertop is joined to the wall using 3 separate brackets each rated for 250kgs. When little ones are about and there is something to grab hold of, you never know what could happen! Practicality, aesthetics, usability and safety are always at the forefront of our mind.
We used a closed to wall pan in this project to keep all the pipework hidden, making cleaning a breeze. This minimalistic look continues into the shower where a concealed shower valve is used keeping all the pipework hidden. A recess was added to give our client needed storage area and an LED light was used to give the same character as the 3D wall. Imagine taking a late night shower with the ceiling lights dimmed down to their lowest setting and the ambience light of the 3D wall and shower recess on.
