This week brings us two work blogs for two separate clients based in South Liverpool. Both these projects produced stunning results and brought massive smiles to both families. Here is a before and after for each individual project and a review by the customer about the work carried out and everyone involved.
Halewood Project – The Review

Having had the main bathroom renovated by the team earlier in the year, we were so happy with the end result we decided to have the en-suite updated as well. From start to finish the team were punctual, responsive and professional. The attention to detail is excellent and in 5 days we had a brand new en-suite. We are extremely happy with the end result. We now have 2 Stunning Bathrooms! Thanks to Rodger, Kirk, Jack, Rob and Wes for the fantastic bathrooms you have created for us this year. – Tasker Family
Allerton Project – The Review

What a fantastic job Rodger and his team at Stunning Bathrooms have done installing our brand new bathroom suite. They have completed the full renovation in 5 days and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final result.
Having done plenty of research for bathroom fitters, we came across Stunning Bathrooms and with their extensive number of 5 star google reviews we decided to get a quote. Rodger came out and helped us plan out our design and was on hand throughout the planning process and installation. They really are as good as the reviews suggest!
A big thank you to all of the team involved in bringing our vision to life, and we won’t hesitate to recommend your services. – Haywood Family
Halewood Project – The Details
A returning client, we believe, always shows the quality of work and attention to detail that we show. Not only that, but the availability of the company and team post project for any questions or help needed. The tasker family asked us to come back and transform their en-suite bathroom and here is the story.

The room was structurally sound post rip-out and inspection and required little work which is always helpful. This was simply due to the fact that house is a relatively new build and has been well looked after. Once this had taken place, the room was prepared with moisture resistant wall boards. Jackoboards were combed and screwed down to the floorboards and self levelling compound was poured on top. The main purpose of this process is to create a solid perfectly level floor to tile from. The secondary purpose, is to create a more seamless shower tray entry where the floor tiles and shower tray meet.

Once this is done, the tiles are combed onto the surfaces after they have been prepared and treated to ensure proper adhesion between the tile and adhesive. We try and use the very best products, such as Kerakoll grout, a flexible resin cement that is both extremely strong and durable. Once the grout is washed off, the install of the suite can commence.

A 600 floor standing gloss grey vanity unit with a shaving point and matching 600 x 800 LED mirror for continuity was installed followed by a square modern plan and minimalistic toilet seat. Chrome finish basin taps were installed to match the concealed chrome waterfall shower and mixer. An 1100 x 760 shower tray was installed to make the use of the room given with chrome finish 8mm thick safety glass sliding doors. Lastly, a marine grade Bluetooth speaker was installed followed by a matching anthracite towel rail.

Allerton Project – The Details
This client wanted a modern bathroom with a strong contrast of colours. Their choice of tiles and fittings, supplied by us, certainly achieved this and the level of finish really gives that justice. As always, the room was stripped and then inspected for its strength and integrity before plumbing and electricals were installed.

After, the tiles were laid using the exact same technique as mentioned above. These tiles were a beautiful 50 x 50 white marble effect porcelain tile and a beautiful 30 x 15 contrasting dark green feature in the middle of the bath. A silver grey grout was used to finish the tiling, providing a contrast between tiles and aiding in keeping the room clean.

The suite and fixtures is what give this room its wow factor. Firstly the smoked black shower screen is a great feature. This works with the exposed rainfall shower, bath taps, basin taps and radiator come towel rail to make the room ‘pop’ out. A 650 wall hung vanity unit was installed above the cut out for the stairs which was tilled in. This made sure that we could make the most of the space available, as a floor standing vanity unit would not have been possible in this situation.
Summary
Both projects, although similar in direction, went about it in two different but equally stunning ways. The one similarity is the attention to detail and quality of work provided by both teams.
