A Victorian bathroom with a modern luxurious twist? That is exactly what was accomplished by our team of expert bathroom fitters this week. Mr. Crosby wished for a bathroom that was bright and modern but with the character and charm that these types of bathrooms bring.
Before we came in, the room needed overhauling completely. The room was spacious however it was not being used to its full potential. As you can see in the pictures below, the room consisted of a standard bath and walled off walk in shower along with the other usual amenities.
As soon as we saw the bathroom, we knew immediately what changes would really bring the room to life, something that comes with the experience our company has in the field. We stripped the room back to the original walls to perform our standard integrity checks, but in doing so we opened to room up by removing the shower partition wall.
The changes made brought the room back to life. The white porcelain tiles, provided to us by Mazzanna tiles, made the most of the natural light brought into the room by the large window. The mirror above the free-standing bath, contrasted with matt black taps, was used to once again open the room up and provide a sense of grandness to the room.
However, the most impactful change was using a frameless glass shower cubical with a Victorian rainfall shower. It allowed the room to breathe. After this, the bathroom was finished with a countertop basin with a wall hung vanity unit, a back to the wall pneumatic flush plate and a traditional heated tower rail.
Mr. & Mrs. Crosby ‘loved’ the final product and now have a bathroom that the whole house can be proud of whilst adding value to the property.
