This week our project was in the West Derby area and consisted of a full rip out of the old bathroom and suite, to be replaced with new fitting, ceiling and of course tiles. The job was undertaken for Mr A. Fitzpatrick, here is what he had to say about our work:
“Rodger was excellent to deal with from the start coming up with suggestions and ideas for our new bathroom. Jack and the lads doing the fitting worked long hours and dealt with any problems that arose. They were a pleasure to have working in my house. You may have to wait for a fitting date but it will be worth it. We love our new bathroom.”
As always, we dismantled the old suite and tore down the room, all which was carried out after laying down flooring to protect any areas of the house our team will be working in and around.
After this one done, we installed all the necessary plumbing and electrical wires needed before the waterproof boarding was installed and prepared for tiling, ensuring the room is isolated from the rest of the house. A request for this project was to include a speaker system in the ceiling, one of hundreds of options we offer.
This project featured 4 different types of tiles. Firstly the floor and walls are a beautiful Varano Marengo and Varano Gris, with a gorgeous Varano Gris Deco feature wall behind that bath which really makes the room pop. Lastly, the walls are split with recesses that have been finished with a blue, offering areas to both decorate and for consumables.
Once the tiles set, we could begin installing the suite. This consisted of a freestanding modern style bath in the far section of the room with chrome finished waterfall taps matching with those on the floor standing vanity unit and sink.
